England, County Durham, North Pennines, Red Squirrel, Tree Snow. Sub zero temperatures brings a coating of snow over night and winter has officially arrived in the North Pennines. The squirrels are well prepared for the cold weather and are already showing their winter coats and ear tufts. This little guy is out early, climbing through the snow covered trees looking for food.
